Only cutting edge technology is used by Vandurit to make their inserts, coating is made with a LASERTEC 50 laser technology, machine only available at very few companies in Europe.

The LASERTEC 50 Shape is a highly dynamic precision laser machine that use linear actuators on the X and Y axes with an acceleration above 1G. It has water cooled torque actuators on the 4th and 5th axis that allow sophisticated 5 sided machining. 5 axis laser surface testing is doen and texturing of large mold tool surfaces for bottle molds or cutting rollers is also available with this high end machine

ISO P, Steel - Lead and carburizing steels, tempered and construction steels.

SO M, Stainless Steel - CR ferritic steels, austenitic steels, CR martensitic steels, Duplex steels.

ISO K, Cast Iron - Gray cast irons, cast irons, CGI cast irons, spheroidal cast irons, sintered irons.

ISO N, Non Ferrous - Molted and extruded aluminum alloys, copper alloys, non metallic materials.

ISO S, Superalloys - Ni/Co based alloys.

ISO H, Tempered - Tempered steels, tempered cast iron, hardened melted steels.

Specifications of different machining application grades

SV15B - Coated with a new CVD-MT high thickness technology, is provided with excellent properties of deformation and high temperature resistance. Particulary suitable for finishing and light roughing applications in high cutting speed, it can be applied on a broad variety of carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels and cast irons.

SV30B - Coated with a new CVD-MT high thickness technology, is provided with excellent properties of deformation and high temperature resistance. Particulary sui- table for medium cutting speed.

SV30Y - Coated with a new CVD-MT high thickness technology, is provided with excellent properties of deformation and high temperature resistance. In addition to the grade’s properties, SV30Y ensures a better weald bead sliding, removed through its Titanium Nitride final coating.

SV40Y - Coated with a new CVD-MT high thickness technology, is provided with excellent properties of deformation and high temperature resistance. In addition to the grade’s properties, SV40Y ensures a good toughness.

V10F - Uncoated ultra fine carbide grade, suitable for aluminium milling whenever a sharp cutting edge profile is required.

VB350 - MT-CVD coated grade suitable for parting processing whenever considerable toughness is required. Used in low to medium cutting speed ensures excellent perfor- mance even in interrupted cutting.

VM2500 - Grade coated with CVD technology suitable for machining of stainless steel and superalloys. The thin coating and sharp edges make this ideal for high quality workmanship.

VK050 - MT-CVD coated grade with a very hard substrate suitable for cast iron machining at high cutting speeds. Excellent wear resistance of the cutting edge.

VK150 - MT-CVD coated grade suitable for cast iron processing whenever it is required high toughness and excellent wear resistance. Used wet and in low to medium cutting speed, this quality ensures a remarkable insert life.

VK300 - MT-CVD coated grade, suitable for cast iron processing whenever it is required high toughness and excellent resistance. Used with coolant in medium cutting speed, this quality ensures a remarkable insert life.

VM2500 - Grade coated with CVD technology suitable for machining of stainless steel and superalloys . The thin coating and sharp edges make this ideal for dificili quality workmanship.

VP150 - MT-CVD coated grade with high wear-resistance which ensures low plastic deformation. Excellent quality in stable conditions suitable both for roughing and for finishing processing, even at high temperature. It can be used dry and with coolant.

VP250 - MT-CVD coated grade suitable for roughing and finishing steel processing. The unique toughened substrate, combined with the new and high thickness coating, makes this grade usable for several applications.

VP300 - Versatile MT-CVD coated grade which combines good production capacity and toughness. Quality suitable for any processing (both dry and wet) with an excellent resistance in medium to high cutting speed, even in unstable conditions.

XB200 - TiAlN PVD coated grade for good of threading at low cutting speed average. This degree is designed for the machining of heat resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steel, hard alloys and steels Carbon. Even with suitable cutting Interrupted and unfavorable working conditions.

XH15 - PVD coated grade suitable for stable and dry operations in medium to high cutting speed. The PVD coating is optimal in case of chip blockage. Ideal for stainless steel processing.

XM20 - PVD coated grade suitable for stainless austenitic steel processing. The unique combination of the uniform substrate and the silicon coating makes this quality ideal in medium to high cutting speed opeartions. Grade recommended for mold roughing.

XM3000 - High performance grade specifically designed for the mould industry. It covers both semi finishing and finishing applications for hardened steels and cast iron. Combined with a highly heat resistant AlTiN based coating, its high tech substrate can also cover the machining of composite materials for which it complements PCD grades.

XT15 - PVD coated grade suitable for cast iron milling processing. Quality which ensures a good resistance of the sharp cutting edge if used with coolant in medium to high cutting speed.
